Welcome to First Baptist
First Baptist Church is a welcoming church family in Mount Forest, rooted in faith in Jesus Christ and a rich Baptist heritage. The original church was established in 1884, when the town's population was approximately 1,500 people. Since then, generations have gathered to worship, share God's Word and serve our community
Our Faith
Jesus Christ is at the heart of our church family. Through biblical teaching, prayer and worship, we seek to grow in faith and reflect His love in our daily lives.
Our Pastor
Pastor Dan Horne has served our congregation since July 2022. Together with his wife, Julia, he encourages families, friendships and a growing faith in Jesus Christ.
Our Community
We welcome individuals and families of all ages to worship, build friendships and serve others. Whether you are exploring faith or seeking a church home, there is a place for you here.
All Ages Welcome
As a church family, we keep God’s Word at the heart of our worship, fellowship and service. Through faithful preaching, heartfelt music and loving care, we seek to share Christ’s love at home and around the world.
In an ever-changing world, we remain devoted to following the Lord and glorifying Him together. There is a place for you here. Come, grow with us!
